CACAO - Medicine of the HEART

The Ancient Sacred Seed, Cacao originated in Mexico and spread throughout Central America. It was associated with wealth and used as a currency. The Mayans and Aztec culture used Cacao for shamanic, ritual and sacrificial purposes and acknowledged it as the food of the gods.

During a Ceremony we will come together in a Sacred Circle to drink a cup of chocolate and invite in the Spirit of Cacao. The Cacao Consciousness will offer us a space to truly open our hearts and connect to the wisdom and cosmic matrix of life. Cacao will guide us too a deeper level of awareness within ourselves and allow us to fully connect and weave together our intention with our intuition into our being. Cacao Medicine is a reminder of our inner knowing, power and creativity.

I am drawn to Cacao because of its healing properties, heart connection, trickster nature and the overwhelming feelings of love and joy the plant provides.

I am truly grateful to Mother Earth for providing us with this natural plant Medicine and to The Cacao Mama for sharing her knowledge and teaching me how to respect to the plant kingdom. I look forward to sharing the experience with you.

Purchase Ceremonial Cacao

Cacao Ceremonies

For the last few years I have been researching with great pleasure and tasting Cacao from all different regions. The flavor and energy of the medicine varies due to climate, soil and the way it is cultivated.

I have teamed up with Cacao Source who collaborate directly with local women's collective of farmers in Guatemala.

Each batch of Cacao is carefully fermented, dried and toasted. The artisan process allows for a high quality control. Each bean has been hand peeled and distributed in its perfect state.

I have 1 pound (454kg) blocks of Ceremonial Cacao available for purchase in New Zealand and Australia.

The price is $90AUD Includes postage across the country.

> International friends feel free to get in touch and I can connect you with some other great distributors in your location.

'' Hi lovely Becs, That was an incredible evening. It was the first time I have been to anything like this and I went in with no idea of what to expect, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and impactful experiences of my life. I’m glad I journaled my journey right away because I’ve gone back to read over it so many times and it continues to bring me comfort & strength.
Like you said it would, the cacao continued working with me for a while there and I wanted to share that I’ve since developed a brand new respect for, appreciation of and connection with nature & plants. I’ve always loved being in nature but I have never before had this sense of recognising it’s unique aliveness/sentience and my own connection to it - a transformative “aha” moment I had during my journey with Cacao.''

I am a Guardian of the precious Cacao Tree. I planted a Cacao Tree that supports the birthing of a new Cacao forest. Cacao Gardener is a not-for-profit initiative working together to restore a biodiverse, spirited cacao forest. My tree was planted with intention, care, and the vision to provide a thriving spirited home for species, plants, and trees native to Colombia.

Let me know if you too would like to weave the dream and plant a cacao tree thus joining a heart centred community.
